Synopsis

Bela Jordan´s life motto comes through in this close up cinematographic portrait done by her daughter.
Diletante pictures the lifestyle of an 80 year old woman living by the Paraná River at the Argentinian countryside. Her particular ways of amusing herself and her sharp lateral thoughts portray a remarcable personality with a unique perspective on old age and life.
Her cook, with whom she holds surreal conversations, her house keeper who spies on her afraid of finding her dead and the exhuberance of the "Litoral" landscape complete the original universe of this film.
A creative and poetic documentary, where nature explodes in an opera and Bela´s personality hits old age like rock an´ roll.
